Forgiveness and Guilt Trips

Forgiveness can and must be given, that gives you the ability to move on and put matters behind you.

But in order to do those things, justice must be done - and seen to be done - first.

This is the whole issue of child abuse and the societies lack of action. The local elders are not acting, they are not dispensing justice on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves. Justice is not being done, and the victim cannot get on with their lives. The evildoer is left to do further wrong, and the victims suffer again and again - if only by proxy.

If the society is ever to get back on the right path, they must right wrongs, have strong leadership and dispense true, balanced, justice. They must put love before money and justice before ego.

The WTBS are weak men taking the lead and producing a damaged following, distrust and punishment of the innocent. They bully the defensless because they cannot fight back, and remove those who have the backbone to fight so the WTBS cannot be shown up for what they are.

Can You Defend Yourself before a J. Committee?

to those who have been before a judicial committee for apostacy.. the elders will ask you questions not for the purpose of finding out the truth, but to make sure they can df you.. at my appeal hearing serveral months ago i was questioned by the appeal committees to their satifaction, they even thanked me for my honesty, as it helped them get what they were looking for to make the original dfing stand.. after they were finished with their questions i ask if i could now defend myself and prove that i was telling the truth and not a biblical apostate.. the chairman informed me that i would not be allowed to defend myself.. i looked at all 8 brothers(2 committees 5 & 3) in total amazement at his refusal to allow me to defend myself.

to them(8) it seem perfectly alright not to allow me to defend myself.. wow.. the chairman said they really were not a judicial court and did not need to be that concerned about doing things in harmony with what is concidered to be fair and right by worldly courts or the bible.

in fact the chairman spent about 10 minutes trying to explain why they didn't have have to be fair in the legalistic way of courts.. .

when knorr ran it it became a us corporation with mormon overtones (no facial hair, sex is bad, masterbate and you will die).

is WTS a company or an association?

the witnesses in europe get to hear the story, that "inc" ( in wachtower .... inc "stands for corporated association and not for a company based on stocks.

in french it would be called sa, societe anonyme, what means "inc" on stocks.. does anybody have the ability to explain the whole situation.. thanks from the grand duchy of luxemburg.

seen the jan awake - how jw's are hero's

the latest awake is terrible.

the society is saying how they were heroes in the new york tragedy.

how they provided help to the rescue forces, how 14 jws died - of them a fireman and an elder in the congregation.

How people crossing the Brooklyn Bridge flocked to the bethel as it was a beacon of hope. How wonderful it was for all the dubs in New York to call on every home to give an expression of hope.

Since I'm on my soapbox today - Sex vs The WTS

i'm still trying to make sense out of sex and the so called bibical view by the wts.

i guess to be fair to a certain extent the wts is only trying to follow the bible's view about sex, but i often wonder if maybe the current understanding is incorrect.. lets examine homosexuality for a moment.

for a long time i've always beleived what the society has taught in that homosexuality is wrong.

I've also found out that all the naughty things the society forbid - ie oral sex etc - everybodys doing anyway!- including the elders who are up on the platform!

I firmly believe that the society have forced upon us unreasonable and unworkable rules that are impossible to live by.

Sounds like the temple leaders in Jerusalem doesn't it

Of Course Bethel monitor this web site, they also monitor all access to it from Bethel. Only those involved in "gathering intelligence" can view it legally, those who access it are "counselled" and/or removed from Bethel.

BTW I know of 3 brothers who go to the easy cafe in Tottenham Court Road or the internet cafe near Brent Cross Shopping Centre (though that is not safe for them now)
